Hey everyone, we've been having a blast at Young Women's and I wanted to let you know what we did in September.

First, we had 2 birthdays in September. Khelsi K on the 17th turned the big 15.

And Katie turned 15 also on the 20th. Happy Birthday girls!

On September 3, we watched the camp video and got to see Jenn, Lisa and LeAnn again. It was so much fun to have everyone together again.

On Sept. 10 we had a bake off! The girls are very good cooks and we had some awesome salads and yummy breads. We are working to put together a cookbook and have saved the best for last! We will be having a combined activity for the main dish cook off!!! Which will be on Nov. 5.

On Sept. 17 we went to the Humanitarian Room at the DI. The YW were able to watch a movie on all the wonderful things the Church is able to do for those in need. Then we were able to participate in aiding those who need us by tying quilts and sewing hand bags. They have more fun serving than anything else we do.

On Sept. 24 we had our combined activity with the YM. Pamela put together a career fair. We were lucky to get a Nurse, a Pilot and an Architect to come and talk to us about their careers. Although it didn't sound as great as it was the YM and YW came and had a blast. They all seem very anxious to discover the secret of making the big bucks!
